Kim Victoria Fields (born May 12, 1969 in New York, New York) is an American actress. Fields was discovered by an acting agent for the sitcom The Facts of Life after appearing in a commercial for Mrs. Butterworth's pancake syrup. From 1979 to 1988, she played Tootie Ramsey on the program. This was Field's most notable role. Even twenty-five years later, Tootie is known to many television viewers for her catchphrase, "We are in trou-ble!" She was also known for the braces she wore on the series for five seasons.
